Our Farm Holiday is offering our guests the possibility of a relaxing vacation in a quiet and peaceful atmosphere away from the traditional commercial renting, but at the same time with all the comforts to which we are accustomed and that we like.
17 independent apartments are available converted from an old farm building and all recently completely reconstructed and useful furnished. We don’t have a direct seaview, but we are situated just one kilometre away from the beautiful sandy beach Lido di Capoliveri, easily reached by car as well as by bicycle.
The surrounding countryside consists of low hills and plains cultivated with vineyard. Near the farmhouse you find only nature. There are tall trees and palms which always spend fresh air and invide to go walks. The climate is warm and mild, mostly with a soft wind. We have an official-sized tennis court, table-tennis, a playground for the children, a shaded private car park, an outside barbeque and a pleasant swimming-pool.
Interested guests are invited to always watch the work in the wine cellar or on the vineyards. We will try to answer all your questions and let you understand everything concerning our wine. Sure that our guests can also try our different products.
We do not dispose of full or half board facilities, however you will find numerous restaurants, pizzerias and “trattorie” (inns) within easy reach if you don’t want to cook in your apartment-kitchen.
In the near by sited village Porto Azzurro (2,5 kms) you will find surgery, banks, Post Office, supermarket, fishmongers and entertainment in the evenings.
The Restaurant
We are not operators working in the high-class catering trade, but simply farmers happy to welcome our guests and offer a taste of the tradition and specialties of our area. We have the pleasure of guiding our guests in the discovery of a number of dishes, typical of the local gastronomy in a warm family-type environment, in line with our primary activity.
We are proud to prepare dishes which have roots in the farming and rural tradition of the area. You will only find wine and oil, fruit and vegetables from our farm and cold cuts, meats and cheeses from organic farming result of a careful search in our Tuscan territory.
We also organize tasting sessions for small groups, offering you the opportunity to become better acquainted with our products that are tied to the history and the territory. We are open for lunch and dinner, or you can come and visit us for an aperitif or for breakfast in the countryside … perhaps with freshly baked bread and jam.
