Costa del Sole stretches from the foot of Mt. Capanne (1018 metres), on the SW side of the Island of Elba. Starting from Marina di Campo, these centres are located along 16 kilometres of Elba’s Western Ring Road, the panoramic route that offers breathtaking views over Costa del Sole, the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago, and Corsica.
It is the sunniest part of the Island. In the summer it is refreshed by the Mistral, a wind that makes this coast the surfers’ paradise. For the rest of the year, it is well sheltered from the cold North and Northeast winds. The climate is really pleasant during the high season, as well as in low season.
