On the island of Elba, situated in the centre of Capo S. Andrea Bay, the Hotel da Giacomino is borned in a true correlation with the nature that surrended it and hidding itself among landscape. It is nature, indeed, with its simple and fascinating charm to be always present in this magnificent and touristic organized hotel.
The most important example of nature respect is the large and shadowing pine-wood (many of its trees have been planted by Mr. Costa himself) but also the garden with fruit and lemon trees.
From the terrace or through the window of your own room you can see the blu-green colour of sea and relish its perfums; that’s all in a really noiseless atmosphere. The hotel stands on a little hill, ditached from center and far from the main street.
The Hotel da Giacomino offers 33 bedrooms all with private bathroom,terrace or balcony with sea-view, TV sat and direct-dial phone. Rooms for two, three or four persons; very large good for families.
All the rooms have private terrace, balcony or garden; where you can sit in the sun, read, have breakfast, or play with your children – special places where stop to organize your day-program or relax returning from the beach.

Our swimming pool
The view overlooking the swimming pool is wonderful; it was designed by the architect Paolo Ferruzzi, well known on the Island, lecturer of Fine Arts in Rome University.
The pool is filled with sea water, with a children’s area and a Jacuzzi, and is blue as the sea, almost as if it were part of it.
Our cuisine
You can choose from either half board or full board. The owners run the kitchen themselves.
Breakfast is served as buffet consisting of fresh products and home made cakes. The cuisine, personally taken care of by the owners, is mainly based on local fish specialties and lunch and dinner are served in the panorama restaurant room or on the terrace over the swimming pool and the creek of Sant’Andrea.
There is a wide selection of fish and meat dishes for lunch and dinner; true Mediterranean first courses and side dishes with the vegetables from our garden.
For our guests we have a tennis court, mini-soccer field and a bowling row and for the kids a well equipped play ground.
Cars can be parked on our shaded parking or in the garage at the entrance of our resort.
The large and beautiful pinewood-garden, that completely surrounds the hotel, has a private and direct access to the sea.
In this piece of heaven it is possible to enjoy the simple pleasure of an unspoit natural setting among rosemary, indian figs, broms and agaves; special small places to relax.
Far from all-day-life, far from stress, far from problems: in holiday at least! In the shadowed pine-wood you can be foudled by a gentle breeze and your eyes will be fulled by an incredible, deep and infinite blue: the sea-blue. Only a few steps and you will soon find yourself swimming.
