The characteristic that our hotel offers is a structure immersed in a large park near our private sandy beach (also mentioned this year in the “blue guide” of Legambiente).

Our beach is equipped and the use of umbrellas, sunbeds and deckchairs is free for our guests. Umbrella and sunbeds are available from the morning of the day of arrival until the evening of the day of departure.

Near the beach we have a large, scenic fresh water swimming pool and a panoramic hydromassage tub with water that can be heated during the cooler months.
At the pool and on the beach, lifeguards offer help, safety and friendliness.

Lunch is served at our restaurant a few meters from the beach (open from mid-June to mid-September) where it is possible to have a full meal or even just a light and quick snack without even having to change clothes after the beach.

For dinner, served at tables, we have the restaurant in the upper part, completely renovated and air-conditioned, located in the central body of the hotel, where there is also the reception, hall and library with the possibility of borrowing books for free.

Breakfast is a mixed sweet and savory buffet and is served on the terrace (from mid-June to mid september)  in an enchanting atmosphere thanks to the view of the sea and near a pretty pond with water lilies populated by goldfish.

With half board it is possible to alternate lunch with dinner, also changing every day simply by informing the maître of your choice in the morning (the chosen treatment is intended for the entire period of the stay and for all occupants of the room).

Our rooms are distributed in several small buildings in the park space. Each building has a small number of rooms, from 2 to a maximum of 12. Each room has its own small terrace or patio.

Next to the hotel entrance, we have a free parking reserved for guests. Also free of charge you can play tennis on the synthetic turf field of Capo Sud.

All our staff is available to guests: our priorities are courtesy and attention to needs in order to be able to offer a relaxing and peaceful holiday.

Beach service (2 sun loungers and an umbrella per room), fresh water swimming pool, open air hydromassage tub, tennis court, widespread library, wifi and 2 free private parking spaces are free of charge.

Pets accepted from 24/04 to 9/06 and from 08/09 to 20/10/24 and in case of availability of adequate accommodation and by reservation only.

The day at hotel Capo Sud begins in the best possible way with breakfast with a magnific view of the Gulf of Stella. The choice is wide and includes a rich buffet with about forty products sweet, savory, hot and cold drinks; our chef always offers his own dessert and homemade jams prepared with local fruit.

For lunch, next to the swimming pool, a pleasant open-air restaurant is open from mid-June to approximately mid-September. Here you can choose a quick snack or prefer a complete menu at an affordable price or even order from a menu à la carte with daily delicious fish options. It is a very pleasant convenience to be able to have lunch five meters from the beach without even having to change clothes.

In the evening, the classic dinner served at the table in our main restaurant: the menu has various choices and offers fish, meat or vegetarian menus. The cuisine, mainly Italian, is genuine, light and tasty and the raw materials are always fresh and of high quality. It is our commitment to offer a service always based on the utmost courtesy and professionalism with a well-trained staff both in the dining room and in the kitchen.

For those who choose the “half board” formula, it is also possible to alternate the choice of eating at our restaurants one day for lunch and one day for dinner simply by informing them of the choice in the morning.

Thanks to the position of our hotel, directly on the sea, after a hundred steps from the central body of the hotel, you reach the private beach of Margidore, part of the Golfo Stella: it is one of the quietest on the whole Island of Elba even in the months where it is most crowded; is reserved for our guests and the use of umbrellas, sunbeds and deckchairs is free for them. Adults and children can relax and swim safely in the sea under the supervision of our lifeguard. Since 2003 our beach has been awarded by Legambiente and the Italian Touring Club and included in the “Blue Guide” which lists the most beautiful beaches on the Island of Elba, both for tranquility and for cleanliness and services.

The area where the umbrellas are placed for our Guests is sandy, the area of the water’s edge is made up of small rounded pebbles. The sand is dark, due to the iron component it has (Elba was in the past an important center for the extraction of iron and other minerals).

Entering the sea, the bottom is mixed, sandy areas and areas with pebbles or slightly larger stones. This type of backdrop helps to make the water clear and crystalline. The seabed drops quite rapidly but it is still possible for children or less experienced swimmers to be able to swim in the area closest to the shore without danger (and under the ever vigilant assistance of our lifeguards).

Right next to the beach, there is one of the most loved places by our guests: the scenic swimming pool that overlooks the sea with a magnificent view of the gulf and the perched village of Capoliveri. The swimming pool is large, with fresh water, never chaotic and reserved for guests of the Hotel Capo Sud.

Practicing a sporting activity in a setting like the one offered by our hotel becomes even more pleasant. On our beach it is possible to rent canoes and pedal boats. We invite our guests to ask for information at the reception upon their arrival or directly to our lifeguards at our private beach.

Since 2013, tour hotel has joined the ‘Elba bike hotels’ circuit, proposing itself as a hotel of reference for lovers of the sport of cycling.
The position of our hotel, central to the island, means that by establishing their base here, cyclists can easily organize rides on both the eastern and western parts of the island.

We collaborates with Divelba (Aquanautic) in Lacona, one of the most renowned and reliable diving centers on the island, which offers its Guests the opportunity to try this experience in maximum safety and tranquility. Free diving trials are carried out in our swimming pool upon request and all the services offered by the diving center are offered at an affordable rate reserved for our Guests.

Are you a racket ace or do you simply want to try your hand at this splendid sport? The hotel offers to all its guests a synthetic grass tennis court that can be used free of charge.
