Description
Beach of Redinoce
This small beach is on the right of the tiny island of La Paolina, only a few kilometers from Procchio.
Most of the beach consists of a sand covered cement terrace that has however all the necessary facilities: sun beds, sun umbrellas, bathing huts and canoe rental. There is a also a small play park at the back, as well as a mooring wharf for small boats.
The remaining part consists of middle sized stones that aren’t really suitable for sitting on or sunbathing.
All the same, the crystal clear water and the view of the tiny island of La Paolina not far off make it a nice beach, and it is perfect for snorkeling lovers because the sea bed is very varied and full of fish. You can see the Gulf of Procchio and the Enfola peninsula on the horizon.
There are two ways to get to Redinoce: one is by following the main road from Procchio to Marciana Marina, then turn off at the sign for the tiny island of La Paolina and follow the grit road for about 300 metres under the lentisk trees to the foot of the valley. Once past the small car park you will have to continue on foot.
The other way – on the main road from Procchio to Marciana Marina as before – is by turning off at the Hotel Le Briciole, then just before you get to the scenic carpark where you will have to leave your car, follow the grit road on your right for about 300 metres and you will get to the beach.
