Beach of Colle Palombaia
The Beach of Colle Palombaia is also known as the beach of a Hundred Steps, and is just what you want if you prefer a quiet and peaceful beach that isn’t far from Marina di Campo.
Many people are put off by all the steps, as well as the fact that, apart from a small bar that also rents out sun beds, sun umbrellas and pedalòs, there are very few facilities on the beach, so it is really quiet even in peak season.
The beach is 180 metres long and consists of pebbles, with sand in some parts. It is exposed only to southern winds, so it is perfect even in the cooler months.
You will be able to relax and have peace of mind just by looking at the untouched nature all around and the crystal clear water.
If you’re coming from Marina di Campo, you will see the turning for San Piero on your right; here you have to turn left in the direction of Cavoli, then just go down the granite steps.
Sun bed, sun umbrella and pedalò rental, as well as a small bar.
