The “La Sorgente” apartment is facing the beautiful pebble beach that bears the same name, with its crystal clear water and breathtaking sunsets, surrounded by lush Mediterranean bush. It is near Portoferraio, the main town on the Island of Elba, within the Tuscan Archipelago National Park.
A short walk down from the apartment takes you right to the beach, and the crystal clear water is heaven on earth whether you are a snorkelling lover or you simply enjoy swimming.
The Enfola promontory with a beach on either side is only about 1 km away; here you will find a slipway for boats, buoys, landing quays, and a scuba diving centre; you can also hire pedalos, canoes, motor and rowing boats.
Portoferraio, the main town on the island, is only 4 km away, and the journey from La Sorgente takes about 10 minutes by car, though you can also go by bus; it has a beautiful basin and sea front, and its lively, historical part offers you a great choice of shops and market stalls. Rich in history, its Fortresses and Napoleonic Villas and Museum are proof of its Medicean past.

The apartment is about 80 square metres, is on two floors, each with its own entrance and is part of a small group of detached houses. The ground floor consists of a spacious sitting room/dining room with a small, double bed settee, and a kitchenette. A spiral staircase leads upstairs, where you will find a bedroom with double bed and a fully equipped terrace with table and chairs, looking out to the sea, a smaller bedroom with bunk beds, and a bathroom with a bath.
