Description
On the island of Elba the Residenza Sant’Anna del Volterraio is a complex that extends on a large valley just behind the nice seaside village of Bagnaia, just in front of Portoferraio.
In a private farm of 3 hectares there is a common park of 3 hectares with 2 tennis courts, 1 swimming pool for adults and 1 for children, sport facilities, solarium, car routes totally underground as well as the napoleonic Villa Sant’Anna in which you can find a bar, a TV room, a sauna, showers and dressing rooms.
The Club House Card, optional and free for children until 10 years old, allows free use of the swimming pool, the Villa Sant’Anna services and to have a discount for the tennis court.
Inside the farm is also situated the exclusive Hotel La Locanda del Volterraio (4 stars), the restaurant Il Giardino dei Ciliegi and a laundrenette.
The Residence also runs the Hotel La Locanda del Volterraio (4 stars) in Bagnaia.
The apartments
The apartments of the residence are harmoniously fit in the green among the mediterranean macchia, olive trees and lawns and all are fitted an with independent entrance, patio or garden, TV color.

The Restaurants
Restaurant ‘Il Giardino degli Aranci’
At the restaurant Il Giardino degli Aranci you can dine in the peace and tranquillity of an old fashioned citrus orchard or under the pergola, while sampling honest and simple cuisine, which includes some of the local Elban specialities. You may on the other hand prefer a pizza, exclusively baked in a wood oven.
Situated close to the Club House, it offers a cordial and intimate atmosphere.
Restaurant  ‘Il Faro’
Directly on the beach, the Restaurant Il Faro allows you to take lunch or dinner under the umbrellas right in front of the Portoferraio fortress, the main town of Elba Island.
Situated close to the apartments it is an excellent choice for a romantic dinner, a quiet evening in a position to see the quite wonderful sunsets.
Bathing Establishment
The Beach Bath Lo Scoglietto, on the beach of Bagnaia, right in front of Portoferraio, equipped with deck chairs, umbrellas, cabins, warm and cold showers, services, offers a comfortable and relaxing way to spend ones day on the beach. A landing jetty is also available for the mooring of boats and dinghies.
The guests of our hotel and apartments get special reductions on prices of the Beach Bath Lo Scoglietto (free service for hotel guests in June and September).
